We carry a variety of covert (invisible) and overt (visible) infrared illuminators. The infrared illumination from covert IR devices can be seen only by IR sensitive cameras and by night vision devices (image intensified devices). Some IR illuminators are designed for short range applications and some are designed for long range applications (typically laser type IR illuminators).

We also carry a variety of covert and visible IR Laser Aiming Devices.

IR Markers

These devices can be used for "covertly" marking a target that can be seen only through IR sensitive cameras (such as are shown in our camera section) or by image intensified night vision devices (such as are shown in our night vision section). Various blinking rates are available as well as some with constant IR light output. A 9-volt battery powers these devices.

Hand Held IR Illuminators

These covert illuminators have a range of up to 600 feet. The ATE/IR1000L is a laser type IR illumiator powered by two AAA batteries. Its collimated lens can be focused from a small diameter dot to a wide angle beam. It has an IR intensity control that adjusts the IR beam intensity for near and long range operation. Since they operate in the IR wave length, they cannot be seen by the human eye. Their illumination can be seen by IR sensitive cameras and by night vision devices.

Flood/Spot Infrared Illuminators

With their special tungsten-halogen lamps or high performance IR LED's, ATE'S Infrared Illuminators offer up to 820 foot range depending on the model.

Models are available in spot, medium, and flood illumination. Infrared illumination is available in semi-covert, and covert wave lengths (730 nm to 950 nm. Lamp and Filter is specified upon ordering and are installed at the factory. Power requirements range from 12VDC to 120VAC depending on the model. All illuminators are rated for indoor and outdoor applications.

IR Short Range Illuminators

These illuminators are designed for close range operation (up to 50 feet with some models). We carry several models of IR illuminators to fit a variety of applications. The ATE/IL05 shown below is weather protected and its 140 IR LED's are automatically turned on when it gets dark. It has a 60 degree beam spread to illuminate wide areas at up to 49 feet distance. It is supplied with a mounting bracket and AC/DC power adapter.
